YEAR 2010
Crystal Cruise Atlas showcases 62 itineraries spanning 174 ports in 70 countries
January 6, 2010 - Crystal Cruises' 2010 Worldwide Cruise Atlas showcases the luxury line's 62 itineraries, ranging in length from seven to 108 nights spanning 174 ports in 70 countries.
New offerings range from maiden calls in Iran, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia on the World Cruise to new North American cruises to the Sea of Cortez and Hawaii.
To celebrate the launch of the brochure, Crystal Cruises is inviting children aged 17 and under to cruise for free on two Crystal Symphony European voyages this summer.
The new offer, valid for children sailing in a third berth with two full-fare adults, is available for Crystal Symphony's seven-night British Isles and Baltic itineraries departing June 14 and August 7 respectively. On both voyages Crystal is also offering free cabin upgrades on selected stateroom categories.
Crystal's 2010 cruise repertoire boasts a balance of cruises celebrating the charming culture of Australia and New Zealand, the fertile history of the Middle East, safari-rich Africa, the treasures of North America and the cosmopolitan cities of Europe.
Throughout, the award-winning Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity will maintain an emphasis on port intensive, destination driven itineraries with many overnight stays in port.
The Atlas details Crystal's celebrated cuisine, enrichment, entertainment, fitness and shore-side offerings, including optional hotel programmes. Inviting spreads illustrate the extraordinary service, space, quality and choices - as well as the style and value - that comprise the Crystal Experience.
The Atlas also showcases:
- 20 years of innovations
- 20th Anniversary "gifts" section, with Crystal's new fares and inclusive features
- Enrichment and value-added programmes in a handy, user-friendly back cover flap
- The annual President's Cruise, including a new optional two-night hotel programme in Dubai
Crystal's pricing for 2010 comprises four key elements:
- Penthouse savings of up to £4,270 per couple. Saving based on a seven-night Baltic cruise departing 7th August
- Stateroom savings of up to £1,594 per couple. Saving based on a couple of 12-night Australia / New Zealand cruises departing 18th and 30th March
- $2000 per couple as part of the cruise line's "All-Inclusive - As You Wish" promotion. The credit can be used towards any shipboard purchase including any custom Private Adventures, any spa treatment, personal training, one-on-one golf instruction, boutique purchases, rare wines and/or Vintage Room experiences.
- Unlike many other travel companies, Crystal protects its guests through the Crystal Assurance Plan so those already booked on a 2010 voyage will be offered the new reduced fares.
Says Andy Harmer, Crystal's UK director of sales and marketing: "The messaging and design of the 20th Anniversary Atlas stays true to the Crystal brand - bright, elegant and inviting. Besides the compelling itineraries, we've focused on simplifying our information about the incredible value available for 2010, as well as the exceptional luxury, services and style found aboard Crystal ships."
2010 prices start from £2,145 per person for a seven-night Mediterranean voyage from Athens to Venice departing May 18. Price includes return scheduled economy flights, transfers, seven nights in a deluxe stateroom with picture window with all meals and soft drinks, port taxes and basic gratuities.
