YEAR 2010
Massive savings as Crystal Cruises cuts its UK fares
November 1, 2009 - Following a global review, Crystal Cruises has announced a complete revamp of its 2010 pricing resulting in lower fares in the UK and savings of up to £4,270 per couple.
2010 prices in the UK now start from £1,600 per person cruise only for a seven-night Mediterranean voyage departing May 11.
The new 2010 pricing comprises four key elements:
- Penthouse savings of up to £4,270 per couple. Saving based on a seven-night Baltic cruise departing August 7
- Stateroom savings of up to £1,594 per couple. Saving based on a couple of 12-night Australia/New Zealand cruises departing March 18 and 30.
- Guests sailing on any of Crystal's 2010 voyages will receive shipboard credits of up to $2000 per couple as part of the cruise line's "All-Inclusive - As You Wish" promotion.
- This spending credit can be used towards any shipboard purchase including any custom Private Adventures, any spa treatment, personal training, one-on-one golf instruction, boutique purchases, rare wines and/or Vintage Room experiences.
Unlike many other travel companies, Crystal protects its guests through the Crystal Assurance Plan so those already booked on a 2010 voyage will be offered the new reduced fares.
Commenting on the new 2010 pricing, Andy Harmer, Crystal Cruises' UK director of sales and marketing, said: "It is incredibly important that Crystal remains competitive in this challenging global marketplace and I believe that our new pricing strategy combined with the onboard credits and price guarantee will prove popular."
