dfds holidaysdfds holidaysdfds holidays

DFDS Seaways' Cruise Ferry and Holiday programme for 2010 is packed full of great European getaways and there is a new way of booking to make sure you get the best choice and best value for money in 2010.

A new concept for booking holidays means there is even great choice of destinations across Europe. Teaming up with leading European accommodation providers, DFDS Seaways is offering customers the greatest flexibility so you can create your perfect holiday from an even greater range of holidays at fantastic prices.

Whether it's a fun-filled family holiday to a European Center Parcs, a quiet and relaxing cottage holiday, or action-packed touring holiday, there is something to suit. Alternatively just book your crossings with DFDS Seaways and organise the rest of your holiday separately. With cruise ferries travelling to Holland and Denmark, you have a choice of routes and ways to get to the continent.

So take a look here at the options for booking your ferry crossing with DFDS Seaways, and the range of holiday available with their recommended accommodation providers.

Ferry Crossings with DFDS Seaways

DFDS Seaways' cruise ferries depart daily from Newcastle to Amsterdam in Holland and three or four times a week from Harwich to Esbjerg in Denmark, providing two excellent gateways into Europe and Scandinavia.
There's no need to drive to the south coast to get across to Europe and what's more, DFDS Seaways' route to Denmark is the only route in to Scandinavia from the UK.
Prices start from £139 for a car with 2 passengers one way from Newcastle to Amsterdam and from £232 for a car with two passengers one way from Harwich to Esbjerg.
Travelling from Newcastle or Harwich to your destinations in Europe could not only save you miles of motorway driving but also fuel too. For example, if you live in the North East of England and you want to get to Cologne in Germany, sailing from Newcastle rather than Dover, and then driving in Europe to get to Cologne you will save 419 miles of driving and around £40 in fuel.
Arriving in Holland you have easy access through to Belgium, France, Germany, while from Esbjerg it's an easy and scenic drive through Denmark and on to Sweden and northern Germany. You can also drive to Copenhagen and take DFDS Seaways' ferry to Oslo in Norway.
Your holiday will begin the moment you board the cruise ferry. With no baggage restrictions, pack the car with whatever you and your family need, drive onboard, check in to your cabin and check out facilities. Your little pirates will love the Kidz Club, while you can sit and relax in the cafe. Then visit the onboard shops before heading to one of several restaurants and bars to enjoy your evening. And on the Newcastle to Amsterdam route you can enjoy live entertainment, night club, casino and cinema too.
Plus now your pets can travel with you on both routes to Holland and Denmark from as little as £19 one way, £38 return, so the whole family can enjoy a holiday, also saving money on expensive kennels.
The table below outlines the costs of travelling with DFDS Seaways from Newcastle to Amsterdam and from Harwich to Esbjerg including ensuite cabin. These prices can then be added to the cost of the partner holidays to build your perfect vacation for 2010.
