- Driving in Fjord Norway is easy- virtually deserted roads means you can take your time, enjoy the scenery and relax.
- The AA and RAC are affiliated to the AIT so members get help in Norway from the NAF
Drink Drive regulations are very strict- no alcohol at all if you are driving
- It is the law to have your headlights on and dipped at all times, even on the brightest summer day
- The maximum speed on Norwegian motorways is 90kmph, in built up areas it is 50kmph, and in many residential areas it is 30kmph
- If driving in the autumn, winter or spring it is advisable to check if roads are open due to weather conditions
