YEAR 2009Irish Ferries

More self-drive choice to Ireland
with Irish Ferries Holidays

The 2009 programme from Irish Ferries Holidays features many new hotels and self-catering choices right across Ireland.

One addition - hotel and self-catering - is Fota Island in Co Cork. The Sheraton Fota Island Hotel & Spa is the first five-star property to be featured by the company and boasts a huge range of facilities including a fitness suite and swimming pool, golf course and academy, jogging/walking trails, plus children's play scheme in the summer.

Set in the hotel's landscaped grounds, the Fota Island Courtyard Lodges, which sleep four, offer luxury self-catering accommodation while benefiting from access to many of the hotels facilities. Those staying at the Lodges receive 20 per cent reduction in golf green fees and also receive a VIP pass for two adults to hotel's thermal/ hydrotherapy spa (worth 70 Euros).

For two adults, a week's holiday in May is a total of £762; in peak season price rises to £1,038 for arrivals between 18 July and 23 August. Up to two children travel and stay free of charge. Included is return cruise ferry crossing - either Pembroke/Rosslare or Holyhead/Dublin - for car and passengers. Also included are all heating costs, bed linen and towel hire.

At all featured hotels for 2009 there are special 'free night' offers for selected dates. Three-night breaks with breakfast lead in at just £155 per person (twin share) at Trim Castle, Trim, Co. Meath just 40 minutes from Dublin city in May, again with ferry for car and passengers.

For self-catering holidays, a second-week free offer is available at all holiday villages for selected dates which brings the price of a two-week self-catering holiday over the Easter Holidays staying in Neidin View, Kenmare, Co. Kerry for four adults to a total of just £410 - again with return cruise ferry for car and passengers.

The programme also features a wide choice of self-drive tours, either with pre-booked accommodation or Go As You Please.
