Former screen goddess Sophia Loren christened MSC's new flagship, Musica, in a lavish ceremony in Venice on June 29, 2006.
More than 1,000 guests were in town for the naming ceremony which took place at the quayside with Musica as the stunning backdrop.
The 2,550 passenger ship was the first of three MSC ships from the Aker Yards in St Nazaire, France.
