After the world's largest Cruiseferry the Pride of Rotterdam was introduced on the Hull Ð Rotterdam route in April, Norsun went to the German Lloydwerft Yard in Bremerhaven for refurbishment.
The old economy cabins and reclining seats have been replaced with new cabins, all with private facilities. The 354 cabins now offering accommodation to 1,000 passengers.
The work has also included the creation of an a la carte restaurant and wine bar and a total renewal of the 464-seater buffet restaurant. The ship also offers a casino, bars, shops, a show lounge with live entertainment, a cinema, a children's play area and a piano bar.
Following the planned arrival of the Pride of Hull in December, Norsea will undergo the same refit before also switching to the Zeebrugge run. The total investment in the improvements to both vessels will be £14 million.
