Dawn Princess's centrepiece is her four-storey atrium, complete with waterfall and glass lifts. The lowest level of the atrium, on deck five, includes the reception desk and the Pursers' Office. Also situated here is the ship's patisserie.

Leading off the atrium on this deck and the one above are the ship's two main dining rooms, each designed to create an intimate atmosphere in a manner pioneered by Sun Princess.

On deck six, the main atrium is ringed by shops and boutiques. One level up, on deck seven, is a large lounge area complete with dance floor which opens onto the atrium.

Towards the bow is one of the ship's main bars and the tiered, West End-style theatre. At the top of the atrium, on deck eight, is the Princess's trademark pizzeria.

A second, smaller two-storey atrium is situated immediately above the dining rooms, running between decks seven and eight, the lower level of which leads into a wine and caviar bar and the ship's disco night club. Between here and the stern is the ship's reading room, card lounge and photo gallery. The higher level of the atrium leads into the ship's casino.

Situated at the stern of the ship, on deck seven, is a cabaret show lounge with sea views from floor-to-ceiling windows and a large dance floor which rises hydraulically for showtime.

Dawn Princess's topmost deck is given over to sun loungers and a splash pool. One deck below, on deck 14 and towards the bow, is a buffet-style restaurant complete with a terrace grill, offering 24-hour dining options, with breakfast and lunch buffets open through the day and a waiter service bistro menu available in the evening until the small hours.

On deck 12 is a fully equipped 'fun zone' for children aged between two and 12, which includes a splash pool, castle, dolls house, children's theatre, ball jump and arts and crafts facilities. Next door is the Cyberspace teen centre to keep older children entertained with computer games, a video jukebox and more.

The main open-air pools and poolside cafe can also be found on deck 12, together with a high-tech gym, health centre and sauna. The ship has five pools and five Jacuzzis in total and an open air sports court which is situated within the funnel casing.

Dawn Princess features a total of 975 cabins yet carries up to 1,000 fewer passengers than other ships of her size, with an unusually high passenger/space ratio. The design and layout of the ship enhances the impression of spaciousness. The ship also has 19 specially designed staterooms for disabled passengers.
