Gateway to a world of exotic cruising
Welcome to Royal Caribbean International's gateway to hot days, barmy nights and ultimate pleasure on board a fleet of luxury cruise liners.
RCI is one of the largest cruise companies in the world, and the new addition of Voyager of the Seas means that it now operates 13 ships to 156 destinations in the Caribbean, Bahamas, Alaska, Mexico, Bermuda, Panama Canal, Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, Hawaii, the Far East and Southeast Asia.
Vision of the Seas was the sixth and last in the line of Vision class, joining Enchantment, Legend, Splendour, Grandeur and Rhapsody of the Seas. But the growth continues with the construction of state-of-the-art ships to take RCI into the next millennium. The first of two Eagle-class ships, Voyager, joined the fleet in November 1999, with Explorer to follow.
And already under construction are the first two 88,000-ton Vantage-class ships, Radiance of the Seas and Brilliance of the Seas, scheduled for delivery in June 2001 and April 2002 respectively.
Royal Caribbean is a global cruise company operating two cruise brands, Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises, recently bought in $1.3 billion deal. The brands' combined fleet consists of 17 vessels in service and three ships on order, representing a total capacity of 38,000 berths by the year 2000.
The ships currently visit Alaska, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, the Far East, Hawaii, Mexico, New England, the Panama Canal and Scandinavia.
