Splendour sets new Cape Horn routes

June 7, 2006 - Splendour of the Seas returns to South America in late 2007 for cruises from Santos, Brazil, featuring new itineraries around Cape Horn.

From December 2007 until mid-February 2008, the ship will sail alternating eight and six-night roundtrips calling at Buenos Aires, Punta del Este and the Brazilian ports of Rio de Janeiro, Buzios, Cabo Frio, Angra Dos Reis and Ilhabela.

Beginning in mid-February 2008, Splendour will add sailings around Cape Horn. Itineraries include Santos to Valparaiso, Chile (15 nights), Valparaiso to Buenos Aires (13 nights), Buenos Aires to Valparaiso (13 nights) and Valparaiso to Santos (15 nights).

Ports include Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Puerto Madryn, Ushuaia, Punta Arenas, Puerto Montt, La Serena (Coquimbo) and Punta Del Este.
