She will replace Legend of the Seas at the end of her second UK season, making her the first Voyager class ship to sail out of the UK.
Royal Caribbean believes its Voyager class ships, which offer state of the art on-board facilities, hold particular appeal for the first-time cruiser segment of the market.
Says Robin Shaw, managing director for RCCL UK and Ireland:
"As a leading player in the fastest growing and most dynamic sector of the travel and leisure industry, we are working hard to feed the demand for our cruises from the UK market. It's widely recognised that our ships are the most innovative at sea and we predict that the decision to bring a Voyager class ship to the UK will be very well received.
ÒNavigator of the Seas reinforces our commitment to invest in the UK cruise market, specifically with one of our newest and most ground-breaking ships."
Italy, the Baltics and short breaks will feature strongly in Navigator of the Seas Summer 2007 season. A new 14-night Italian cruise; new Baltics cruises that promise to be particularly spectacular given the large number of balcony and outside cabins (939 oceanview cabins, of which 707 have balconies), and a number of two and four-night short-break cruises to Cork and Le Harvre for Paris will be available.
