SUNLIGHT AND SEA BREEZES

Seabourn added highly distinctive French Balconies with sliding glass doors opening to sunlight and sea breezes on its all-suite sister ships Seabourn Pride, Spirit and Legend in 2000.

They were added to nearly 50 per cent of the sister ships' celebrated luxury suites and effectively converted the entire 277 square foot, Seabourn, Type A suites into elegant, open-air verandas.

A sppokesman says:

"Simply by sliding open the glass doors, guests aboard the Seabourn Pride, Spirit and Legend instantly bring the outdoors, indoors to their private at-sea living space."

Forty-four, Type A suites on the top two of three passenger accommodation decks on each of the three Seabourn sister ships were fitted with the French Balconies. In those suites the balconies with their sliding French glass doors replaced the standard picture windows. Of the 102 suites aboard ship, 44 areequipped with French Balconies and six feature outside verandas.
