Winter wonders of South America
December 2, 2005 - There will be sailing on ten sailings in South America in the Winter season of 2006-2007.
Sailing to Brazil from Tenerife in mid-October, the 110-passenger SeaDream I will then operate five south-bound, ten-day voyages from Rio de Janeiro to Buenos Aires. Each itinerary will feature a full day trip to the stunning Iguacu Falls and an overnight in Rio.
The other five voyages will operate south to north, commencing in Buenos Aires and ending in Rio. These will all include an overnight stay and extra day in Buenos Aires.
South American ports of call from Rio and Buenos Aires will be: Buzios, Parati, Ilhabela, Porto Belo, all in Brazil and Punta del Este, Uruguay. There will also be a call on Itajai in Brazil to position guests for their complimentary private jet charter to the spectacular Iguau Falls.
The ports of call from Buenos Aires to Rio will be Punta del Este, Uruguay; Porto Belo, Ilhabela, Ilha da Gipoi, Parati and Buzios, in Brazil.
Says Ian Buckeridge, SeaDream's UK Director: "All of us at SeaDream are excited about these new South America sailings. We are confident they will offer upscale travellers a new and spectacular SeaDream experience.
