Irish-owned Celtic Link Ferries is a low fares ferry company that provides passenger and freight services to Rosslare, Cherbourg and Portsmouth.
It was established in 2005 as a new ferry operation to meet the growing demand for a regular and reliable transport service for cars, freight and passengers between Rosslare and Cherbourg. In October 2009, the company then decided to operate a second ship between Portsmouth and Cherbourg.
Celtic Link Ferries service provides a low fares, no frills, value for money service. With three crossing per week to and from Ireland and France, and a daily service in each direction between Portsmouth and Cherbourg, travellers now have a wide of additional options to complement the existing ferry operator services.
The Norman Voyager - the newest conventional ship on the channel - and the Diplomat operate between Rosslare, Cherbourg and Portsmouth for both passengers and freight.
