Color Line, Norway's largest cruise ferry line with a fleet of eight passenger ships, operates five international ferry services between eight ports in Norway, Germany, Denmark and Sweden. Its ships include seven modern cruise ferries, among them Color Fantasy, the largest car carrying cruise ship in the world, and a high-speed passenger ferry.

A second Fantasy class ship, the £225 million Color Magic, is being built in Finland and will join the fleet at the end of 2007.

The company's ferry services are concentrated in the Skagerrak and comprise five routes:

• Kristiansand - Hirtshals
• Larvik - Fredrikshavn
• Sandefjord - Stromstad
• Oslo - Hirtshals
• Oslo - Kiel

More than four million people travelled with Color Line in 2004. In addition the company carried more than 800,000 private cars and 160,000 heavy goods vehicles.
