LD Lines now offers more ferry crossings to France than ever before, giving freedom to passengers, and allowing them to choose the port and the time that suits them.
Four main ferry routes include
- Portsmouth to Le Havre
- Dover to Boulogne
- Rosslare to Cherbourg - now (Celtic Link)
- Newhaven to Dieppe (in conjunction with their sister company Transmanche Ferries).
The Cross Channel ferry services between the UK and Normandy and Nord-Pas-de-Calais, are exceptionally fast and convenient, using ports which are closest to London and Paris respectively.
There are two crossings daily between Portsmouth and Le Havre all year round, operated by LD Lines, and sister company Transmanche Ferries runs two crossings a day between Newhaven and Dieppe.
As part of this ongoing development of passenger services, LD Lines has just added Ramsgate to Ostend route to their existing portfolio of routes. Dover to Boulogne was also added recentloy, while a new direct Southern Ireland - France ferry service between Rosslare and Cherbourg, now operated by Celtic Link, was introduced in September.
Dover to Boulogne (up to four crossings daily) is offered on a daily basis throughout the year. The Ramsgate to Ostend service will p-rovide two return crossings daily.
All ships are fully equipped with modern onboard facilities, and are maintained to high standards ensuring our passengers, have the level of comfort and safety they expect.
Both LD Lines and Transmanche Ferries allow foot passengers and vehicles on all routes to France.
