THE long British love affair with shopping in France is set for a new chapter.
After seeing the success of the Cite Europe complex, Eurotunnel has been given planning permission for a shopping centre alongside the Channel Tunnel at Coquelles.
Eurotunnel is linking up with Marques Avenue, a developer of factory shops, and Castorama, a top chain of French DIY and gardening centres, to develop a shopping complex that will create 340 jobs.
