Bigger and better savings
March 3, 2010 - Now there are even more reasons to set sail with Crystal Cruises in 2010 as bigger and better offerings are announced for the months ahead.
Free flights are now available on a selection of itineraries and back-to-back voyages; there are 2 for 1 flights on a number of Crystal Serenity cruises, as well as a Penthouse sale on the May 11 and 18 sailings; and a new transatlantic cruise from Dublin to New York has just been finalised.
All cruises include All Inclusive - As You Wish shipboard credit, in some instances up to $1,000 per person, which can be spent on shore excursions, spa treatments, alcoholic beverages, purchases in the onboard boutiques, gratuities or Vintage Room experiences.

New heights and depths from Crystal
February 25, 2010 - This spring, summer and autumn, Crystal Cruises is rolling out nearly 800 boutique shore excursions across Europe, dozens of which are brand new.
From soaring above Stockholm in a hot air balloon to scuba diving off the coast of Turkey, Crystal Adventures enhance Crystal's 32 destination-rich itineraries exploring the Mediterranean, Baltic and Black Seas, North Cape, Canary Islands, Middle East and British Isles.
Says UK marketing director Andy Harmer: "Each year we strive to offer meaningful experiences ashore that satisfy our guests' appetite for diverse adventures."

Crystal VIP acess to St Andrews Open
February 15, 2010 - This July, golf enthusiasts onboard Crystal Serenity can enjoy an ultra-exclusive, limited-availability opportunity to be part of the ultimate competition in the birthplace of the game.
With its new three-night Extended Land Programme, Crystal guests will be treated to VIP access and the highest level of service at the 150th Open Championship at the world-famous St Andrews Golf Club.
The Programme ensures Crystal guests are in the midst of the championship's final two days before joining Crystal Serenity's Black Sea voyage to Istanbul on July 19.

Venetian fireworks on Serenity
February 10, 2010 - This July, guests onboard award-winning Crystal Serenity will be treated to one of Italy's most popular Venetian traditions.
A new cruise for 2010 sails into Venice just in time for the annual Redentore Festival - a spectacle of brightly coloured boats, gondola races, costumes and traditional feasts culminating in a magnificent fireworks display.
The 12-night Mediterranean/Adriatic voyage, departing from Athens on July 7, starts with an overnight in Athens on July 7 and visits Kusadasi, Santorini, Patmos, Crete, Kotor and Split before finishing with two shipboard overnights in Venice. Prices start from £4,118 per person including return scheduled flights.

Crystal expands luxury hotels line-up
January 18, 2010 - The Pierre New York and the King George Palace in Athens have been added to Crystal Cruises' line up of 2010 "Classic" and "Classic Plus" Hotel Programmes of renowned hotels and resorts around the world. Other noted hotel partners include the Hotel Hermitage in Monte Carlo and Dubai's Burj Al Arab, as well as several Four Seasons, Ritz-Carltons and InterContinentals.
The "Classic" programme includes meet and assist arrangements at the airport; all hotel tax and porterage; a Crystal hospitality desk at the hotel; and transfers to the ship for special priority embarkation. The "Classic Plus" programme also offers upgraded accommodation, breakfast daily and private car transfers between the airport and hotel.
Crystal Adventures Hotel Programme pricing begins at £140 per person, double occupancy, for the first night, depending on the property selected, with reduced rates for second and third nights.

Crystal free kids offer
January 13, 2010 - Crystal Cruises is inviting children aged 17 and under to cruise for free on two Crystal Symphony European voyages this summer.
The new offer, valid for children sailing in a third berth with two full-fare adults, is available on Crystal Symphony's seven-night British Isles and Baltic itineraries on June 14 and August 7.
Junior Activities Directors will be onboard to oversee dozens of organised activities from arts and crafts and story time for little ones to disco-themed pool parties for older kids and teenagers.

Crystal unveils 2010 cruise atlas
January 6, 2009 - Crystal Cruises' 2010 Worldwide Cruise Atlas showcases the luxury line's 62 itineraries, ranging in length from seven to 108 nights spanning 174 ports in 70 countries.
New offerings range from maiden calls in Iran, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia on the World Cruise to new North American cruises to the Sea of Cortez and Hawaii.

Crystal boosts 7-night Europe cruises in 2010
December 11, 2009 - Crystal Cruises is offering more seven-night options than ever for 2010 European cruises.
Six itineraries in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Baltic and British Isles allow travellers to enjoy the award-winning Crystal Experience and a wealth of intriguing ports in a shorter time than Crystal's more prevalent 11 and 12-night European cruises.
Says Crystal's Andy Harmer: "The seven-night European itineraries are a great way for guests with limited time to enjoy a luxury getaway, and for new guests to sample the celebrated Crystal product."

Symphony in perfect health
November 4, 2009 - Crystal Symphony has received a perfect score of 100 following an intensive inspection by a team of US Public Health officials during her October 21 call in Boston, Massachusetts.
Scoring is based on 41 inspection items of the potable water system; food preparation and storage areas; waste management systems including filters, ventilation devices and sanitising temperatures; cleaning sequences and standards of accommodations and public areas; and general environmental health issues. Swimming pools and spas are also inspected.
Crystal Serenity also received a perfect 100 during her most recent call in Canada in May.

UK fares cut for 2010
November 1, 2009 - Following a global review, Crystal Cruises has announced a complete revamp of its 2010 pricing resulting in lower fares in the UK and savings of up to £4,270 per couple.
2010 prices in the UK now start from £1,600 per person cruise only for a seven-night Mediterranean voyage departing May 11.
Andy Harmer, Crystal Cruises' UK director of sales and marketing, said: "It is incredibly important that Crystal remains competitive in this challenging global marketplace and I believe that our new pricing strategy combined with the onboard credits and price guarantee will prove popular."
