On-board Sports

Most people expect a cruise to be a relaxing experience, but with a huge array of activities onboard most ships today, there is of plenty of opportunity for holidaymakers to enjoy their favourite sports while at sea.

From golf, tennis, aerobics and cricket to more gentle activities such as deck quoits and shuffleboard, there is something for everyone.

Most cruise lines offer onboard sports, but they do vary according to the cruise line and the ship. The more traditional and intimate ships tend to offer the more classical activities, such as swimming pools, fitness centres and deck games, while the superliners can offer a huge array more.

Some cruise lines also offer sporting-themed cruises, including Captain Cook Cruises, Disney Cruise Line, Crystal Cruises and P&O Cruises.
